Georgian, Abkhaz Sides Hold Talks over Return of IDPs

A meeting involving the Georgian, Russian and Abkhaz sides, as well as Special Representative of the UN Secretary General to Georgia Heidi Tagliavini, will be held in the Russian town of Sochi on July 20.
 
The issue of the safe return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) to the Gali district of breakaway Abkhazia will be discussed during the talks.
 
The Georgian side will be represented by State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava and Minister for Refugees and Accommodation Eter Astemirova.
