Unarmed patrol policemen continue to surround the headquarters of the Russian Troops in Trans-Caucasus in Tbilisi following the arrests of four Russian officers and eleven Georgian citizens for alleged espionage.

Tbilisi claims that another Russian official also suspected of espionage remains in the headquarters, and is demanding his extradition.

Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili said on September 27 that the police cordon will remain around the headquarters until surrenders the wanted officer.
