Georgian-Azeri Economic Commission Meets in Batumi
A session of the Georgian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation will be held in Batumi, Adjara Autonomous Repubic, on August 16-18. The session will be chaired by Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli.
According to the Georgian Prime Minister’s press office, prior to the session Nogaideli will hold face-to-face talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Artur Rasizade on August 16 to discuss cooperation issues.
A Georgian-Azerbaijani Business Forum will be held in Batumi on August 17 with the participation of the two Prime Ministers and members of the delegations.
According to the Georgian Economy Ministry, the forum will basically focus on the issues of economic cooperation, investments and tourism development.
