JCC to Meet in Moscow in August
A session of the quadripartite Joint Control Commission (JCC) will be held in Moscow on August 17-18, Russian chief negotiator on South Ossetia Yuri Popov told RIA Novosti on August 5.
He said that the agenda of the session will include two issues: the economic rehabilitation of the South Ossetian conflict zone and the launch of the activities of a joint working group, which was set up to develop a joint program on South Ossetian conflict resolution.
The Russian chief negotiator visited Georgia and breakaway South Ossetia on August 3-4 and held talks with both Georgian and South Ossetian officials.
