MPs Briefed on Grape Harvest
Petre Tsiskarishvili, the agriculture minister, met with senior lawmakers from the ruling and opposition parties behind closed doors and briefed them about the ongoing grape harvest in the eastern region of Kakheti.
?80% of the harvest in Kakheti, which is 110,000 tons, has already been processed,? Tsiskarishvili told reporters after the meeting.
Kakha Kukava, leader of opposition Conservative Party, said the minister was ?quite constructive.?
?But I can not say the same about the parliamentary majority leader [Maia Nadiradze], who politicized the issue,? he added.
