Joint Georgia-UK Military Medical Exercise

Joint Georgian-UK military medical exercises – Georgian Express-2007 – are being held at the Vaziani military base near Tbilisi on August 27-September 9, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported.
 
One medical company from the UK Ministry of Defense and 90 medical personnel from the 1st and 2nd infantry brigades of the Georgian land forces will be engaged in the exercises.

The Georgian Ministry of Defense said this would act as a pre-deployment training exercise for the British company, which is due to go to Iraq and Afghanistan.
