Additional Funding for S.Ossetian Provisional Administration

The Georgian government has allocated from its reserve fund GEL 210,000 (about USD 126,000) to the South Ossetian provisional administration.

The relevant decree, signed by Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli on August 22, says that the funds will be used by the provisional administration, led by Dimitri Sanakoev, for organizing various sporting events.

The provisional administration received GEL 12.4 million (USD 7.3 million) from the state budget this June.
