Deputy Head of U.S. Immigration Service Visits Georgia
Emilio Gonzalez, the Deputy Director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, will visit Georgia on August 8-11.
Gonzalez, who is also Under Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is traveling to Georgia at the invitation of Minister of Refugees and Accommodation, Gia Kheviashvili, according to the U.S. embassy in Tbilisi.
Gonzales is in charge of the organization which processes immigration benefits for new immigrants to the United States.
