Georgian, S.Ossetian Chief Negotiators Discuss Water Crisis

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Merab Antadze met with South Ossetian chief negotiator Boris Chochiev in Tskhinvali on June 19 to discuss the on-going water crisis in the region.

?The Georgian side claims that it has already repaired the water pipeline, but that is not true, since the water supply problem still persists in Tskhinvali,? the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported on June 19.

The Georgian State Minister?s administration said the Georgian and South Ossetian side were jointly inspecting the pipeline. A statement by the State Minister?s office is expected after this joint monitoring.
