Sanakoev Wants OSCE Response to S.Ossetia Developments
Dimitri Sanakoev, head of the Tbilisi-loyal South Ossetian provisional administration, called on international organizations, in particular the OSCE, to take a more proactive stance and condemn measures undertaken by the Tskhinvali-based South Ossetian secessionist authorities.
Speaking with the press at his headquarters in the Georgian village of Kurta in the conflict zone on June 16, Sanakoev said more than a dozen villages in the region remained without irrigation water because of secessionist leader Eduard Kokoity?s decision to cut water supply.
?Unfortunately, international organizations, including the OSCE, have been ignoring this fact? We demand that international organizations react to these facts,? Sanakoev said.
He also said that Kokoity?s regime ?is a threat to our development and peace.?
?Through its provocative policy, the Tskhinvali-based regime is only bringing its own end closer,? Sanakoev added.
