Burjanadze Visits United States

Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze left for the United States on March 17 to hold talks with U.S. officials from the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Pentagon and the Department of State, the Parliamentary Chairperson?s press office reported.


Burjanadze will also meet the Executive Director of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, as well as the heads of the International Republican and Democratic Institutes.


The Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson is also expected to deliver a speech at the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) on Georgia?s democratic reforms and its NATO aspiration.
