Five Injured in Army Copter Crash

A Georgian army helicopter with 17 Defense Ministry personnel onboard crashed on February 12 in Kutaisi, western Georgia, reports say.

Five people on board were hospitalized with non-critical injuries.

?The helicopter was conducting a scheduled flight from Tbilisi-Kutaisi-Senaki. The incident occurred when the helicopter was landing,? Colonel Zaza Gogava, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, told reporters.

He said an investigation is ongoing to find out the cause of the crash.
