Abkhaz Official, UN Envoy Discuss Conflict Resolution

UN Secretary General?s Special Representative in Georgia Jean Arnault met with Foreign Minister Sergey Shamba in Sokhumi on January 11, Apsnipress news agency reported.

The meeting comes ahead of UN Security Council consultations scheduled for January 24 on the Secretary-General?s progress report on the situation in Abkhazia.
