Saakashvili Seeks Talks with Putin
Sergey Prikhodko, an aide to the Russian President Vladimir Putin, said on July 17 that the Russian side has received a request from Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili to hold bilateral talks with President Putin on July 21-22, on the sideline of the CIS informal summit, Interfax news agency reported.
?We always pay great attention to Saakashvili?s requests… I know only few cases, when Putin says no to his counterparts? requests about a meeting,? Prikhodko said.
