PM Nogaideli to Visit Brussels
Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli will leave for Brussels on June 13 to hold talks with EU and NATO officials and to participate in a donors? conference on South Ossetia.
According to the PM?s press office, Zurab Nogaideli will hold talks with NATO Deputy Secretary General Alessandro Minuto Rizzo; EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana; EU Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs; EU External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner; and OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Belgian Foreign Minister Karel de Gucht.
On June 14 the Georgian Prime Minister will participate in a donors? conference which will discuss economic and infrastructure rehabilitation projects for the South Ossetian conflict zone.
It is expected that donor countries will be asked to contribute EUR 10 million to fund infrastructure and economic rehabilitation projects which were proposed in an OSCE-led Needs Assessment Study.
