Khajimba: Abkhazia will Never Return to Georgia

Vice-President of breakaway Abkhazia Raul Khajimba said that Abkhazia will never return to Georgia and “Mikheil Saakashvili [Georgian President] should finally get used to this [fact],” Apsnypress news agency reported on April 4.

This statement was made in response to President Saakashvili’s statement, who said in an interview with the Russian newspaper Vremya Novostey on April 4 that the Georgian authorities will never tolerate separation of Abkhazia and South Ossetian from Georgia.

“The Abkhaz youth do not want to live within the Georgian state. The Abkhaz people have already made their choice – to build an independent state,” Raul Khajimba added.
