PM: Development of Roadmap on Abkhazia Launched

Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli said at a news briefing on March 24 that the authorities have launched the development of a detailed roadmap over Abkhaz conflict resolution.

“Our policy towards conflict resolution has numerously been voiced. We want the conflicts to be settled peacefully as soon as possible. We have already developed the peace plan on South Ossetia, which has been approved by the OSCE. Now, we are working on a roadmap over Abkhaz conflict resolution,” Prime Minister Nogaideli said.

In October, 2005 the Georgian Parliament instructed the government to submit a detailed roadmap over Abkhaz conflict resolution by May 1, 2006.
