Explosives Found in Poti

Georgian law enforcement agencies found 35 kilogram of ammonal explosive, which was installed under the bridge in a western Georgian town of Poti, Chief of the Special Operations Department of the Interior Ministry Mamuka Toidze said on Monday.

He alleged that the explosive was installed two years ago, supposedly by supporters Adjara’s ex-leader Aslan Abashidze, who was ousted in May, 2004.
