Education Ministry Official Injured in Kutaisi Blast

Lado Pataridze, chief of the regional department of the Education Ministry, was badly injured after an explosive went off in his office late on March 16 in the country’s second largest city Kutaisi.


Education Minister Kakha Lomaia said at a news conference on March 17 that the explosion was directed against the Education Ministry and ongoing reforms in the education system.
