Official: Georgia Receives Informal Go-Ahead to NATO MAP
Georgian State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration Issues Giorgi Baramidze said on March 9 that a group of experts from NATO have assessed positively process of implementation of reform targets set by the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) with NATO.
“This is very important day, as NATO experts assessed as very positive implementation of IPAP. This positive assessment means informal go ahead towards [NATO] Membership Action Plan,” Giorgi Baramidze said while speaking at a political talk show aired by Rustavi 2 television.
