Energy Minister Visits Baku
Georgian Energy Minister Nika Gilauri left for Baku on January 25 to discuss a possible increase of the gas supply to Georgia.
?We will negotiate over the delivery of additional amount of gas to Georgia,? the Energy Minister told reporters before his departure.
The Gas supply to Georgia from Azerbaijan has decreased from more than 3 million cubic meters to 2.5 million cubic meters per day, after gas compressor equipment was damaged at the Russian-Azeri border on January 24.
