Georgian-Abkhaz Talks Postponed

The Georgian-Abkhaz talks scheduled for Saturday in the Gali district of breakaway Abkhazia were postponed for January 23, the office of the Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues reported.

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava and UN Secretary General?s Special Representative in Georgia Heidi Tagliavini failed to arrive in Gali due to bad weather conditions.

The issues of security and crime situation in the Gali district were to be discussed during the talks.
