Opposition MPs Visit Lithuania
A group of parliamentarians from the opposition Democratic Front faction, which unites MPs from the Republican and Conservative parties, left for Lithuania on January 15 to discuss Lithuania?s experience in social security legislation with their Lithuanian counterparts.
The group, which includes the leader of the Republican Party Davit Usupashvili, is also interested in Lithuania?s experience after their adoption of a law on lustration.
Reportedly, the Democratic Front plans to push a draft law on lustration for discussions at a parliamentary session in February.
