Media Speculates on Possible Cabinet Reshuffle

The Georgian media sources have again started speculations about possible cabinet reshuffle. Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli declined to comment these speculations on December 22.

According to these reports Education Minister Kakha Lomaia will become Prime Minister, replacing Zurab Nogaideli, who will take the position of Finance Minister.

Justice Minister Kote Kemularia will become Secretary of the National Security Council; Health Care Minister Lado Chipashvili will be replaced by Governor of the Samegrelo region Zaza Gorozia, according to the media speculations.
 
The position of all four State Ministers will reportedly be cancelled and Minister for Economic and Structural Reforms Kakha Bendukidze will take over the Economy Minister?s office.
