EU, Georgia to Discuss ENP Action Plan in Tbilisi

The first round of talks on the EU-Georgian Action Plan under the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) will be held between the Georgian and the European Union representatives in Tbilisi on November 29-30.


According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, discussions will specifically focus on the approaches, principles and priorities to be set forth in the Action Plan.


The Georgian delegation will be led by First Deputy Foreign Minister Valerie Chechelashvili. Kurt Juul, the European Commission Head of Unit for the Southern Caucasus and Central Asia, will lead the EU delegation. 


Georgia joined the European Neighborhood Policy in June 2004, along with Azerbaijan and Armenia.
