Georgian Foreign Minister Names New Deputies

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili announced on November 2, that he has appointed Georgia?s Ambassador to Switzerland Valeri Chechelashvili as his first deputy. Before becoming the Ambassador this July, Chechelashvili served as the Finance Minister.


Gela Bezhuashvili also named three other new Deputy Foreign Ministers: Nika Natbiladze, Giorgi Manjgaladze and Zura Pololikashvili ? all of them served at the National Security Council.


Only Merab Antadze, who leads the negotiations with Russia, retained his position of the Deputy Foreign Minister.
