Georgian Minister, U.S. Ambassador Discuss S.Ossetia

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava held talks with U.S. Ambassador to Georgia John Tefft on October 31 and discussed the action plan developed by the Georgian authorities over resolution of the South Ossetian conflict resolution.
 
Ambassador Tefft told reporters after the talks that the meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli and South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity will be the next step towards resolving the conflict. This meeting is expected to take place in the first half of November.
