Saakashvili, Rice Discuss Conflict Resolution

Visiting Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili held a brief meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on September 13 and discussed a peaceful resolution of the South Ossetian and Abkhaz conflicts, Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili told Rustavi 2 television.

She said that ?more active involvement? by the United States in the conflict resolution process was discussed during the meeting.
