Russia Wants Georgia to Issue Entry Visas for Servicemen

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Ivanov told reporters in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski on July 28 that Russia is concerned with the Georgian Foreign Ministry?s refusal to issue entry visas to Russian servicemen deployed at the military bases in Batumi and Akhalkalaki.


?We are concerned about the absence of visas for Russian servicemen, who have to prepare the military hardware on our bases for withdrawal,? Ivanov said, as quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency.
