Opposition Agrees on Primaries to Nominate Joint MP Candidacies

The representatives from opposition New Rights, Conservative, Republican and the Labor parties, announced, after holding consultations on July 12, that they will hold primaries in an attempt to nominate joint candidacies for the MP by-elections.

MP by-elections will be held this autumn five of Georgia?s single mandate constituencies: Kobuleti, Batumi and Shuakhevi in the Adjara Autonomous Republic; Tkibuli in western Georgia and Isani – a single-mandate constituency in capital Tbilisi.
