Interior Ministry: No Suspect in Bush Grenade Incident

In a statement issued on June 27 the Georgian Interior Ministry denied the report by the Tbilisi-based Rustavi 2 television, according to which the law enforcement agencies have identified a person, who allegedly tossed grenade in a crowed while visiting U.S. President George W. Bush was addressing Georgians on Freedom Square in Tbilisi on May 10.
 
The Interior Ministry offers 20,000 Lari (approximately USD 10,900) as a reward for valuable information that may lead to the capture of a suspect. The Georgian law enforcers and FBI are jointly investigating the May 10 incident.

The Interior Ministry said police is searching for three persons, who might know details of the incident. The Ministry has posted photos of these persons on its web-site on June 27.
