State Minister Meets S.Ossetian Leader
Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Goga Khaindrava met on June 12 with President of breakaway South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity to discuss the situation involving the disappearance of four Georgians in the conflict zone.
The whereabouts of those four Georgians, who disappeared on June 6 after they crossed over into Ossetian-controlled territory, still remains unclear.
Goga Khaindrava told reporters after his meeting with Kokoity that the chances of finding these missing men alive are fading as time goes on.
?If Kokoity knew something of course he would tell. He is not interested in hiding information. But the problem is that there are internal problems there [in the breakaway republic]. There are many uncontrolled militia groups,? Goga Khaindrava told reporters.
