Georgian Defense Minister Visits Brussels, Washington
Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili left for Brussels today to attend a meeting of the NATO Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council at the Defense Minister level on June 9-10.
During the visit Irakli Okruashvili will hold talks with his Estonian counterpart to discuss military cooperation between the two countries.
On June 13-17 Irakli Okruashvili will travel from Brussels to Washington D.C., where he will hold talks with U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and the United States Joint Forces Command.
According to the Georgian Defense Ministry, the prospects of the U.S.-Georgian military cooperation will be discussed.
