S.Ossetian MoD: Russian Citizens of Ossetian Origin Killed in Clash
Four servicemen of the South Ossetian Defense Ministry, killed in a clash with the Georgian police on May 29, were Russian citizens of Ossetian origin, the unrecognized republic?s Defense Ministry reported.
In a statement issued by the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee, the Defense Ministry of unrecognized republic accused the Georgian side of an incident and demanded to hand over those persons who attacked a car of the Ossetian servicemen.
One Georgian policeman was also killed in this skirmish, which occurred near the Georgian village of Tamarasheni in the South Ossetian conflict zone.
