Kiev Wants to Export Azeri Oil in Europe via Georgia, Ukraine
The state-owned Neftogaz-Ukraine oil company offered to set a joint Ukrainian-Azerbaijani joint venture, which will transport oil through the pipeline connecting Azeri capital Baku with Georgia?s Black Sea oil terminal in Supsa, as well as via Odessa-Brody pipeline and further to Europe.
The issue was discussed during the meeting between chief of Neftogaz-Ukraine Alexey Ivchenko and Azeri President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on May 26, the Neftogaz-Ukraine reported.
