Saakashvili Hints He May Visit Moscow

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said on May 4 that Georgia ?sacrificed a huge number of people? in World War II, ?so I think I will go to Moscow to attend the celebrations marking the Day of Victory.?

Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili said in late April that Saakashvili would visit Moscow if there was progress made over an agreement on the withdrawal of two Russian military bases from Georgia.

President Saakashvili also said on May 4 that Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili will make an official trip to Ukraine and mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the World War II in Kiev.
