Experts, Officials Discuss Anti-Money Laundering Measures
International crime-fighting experts will work with Georgian officials to develop measures to combat money laundering at a one day OSCE-organized workshop in Tbilisi on May 3, the OSCE Mission to Tbilisi reported.
At the National Workshop to Combat Money Laundering, participants will consider practical ways to tighten Georgia?s existing initiatives, including the effective analysis of financial data to identify incriminating evidence. Representatives from the OSCE and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), as well as experts from Belgium, the UK and Latvia, will share experiences with representatives of the Georgian Government.
