S.Ossetian Report: Kokoity, Putin Discussed Integration

The breakaway South Ossetia?s Press and Information Committee reported on April 6, that South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity discussed region?s integration into Russia with President of Russia Vladimir Putin during the talks on April 5 in Sochi.

?During the meeting the issues related to the integration of South Ossetia into Russia, investment in the South Ossetian economy, as well as support in peaceful resolution of the conflict through peaceful means based on the principles of international law and agreements reached in frames of Joint Control Commission were discussed,? the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported on April 6.

According to this report, President of breakaway Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh and Governor of the Krasnodar district of the Russian Federation Aleksander Tkachov also participated in this meeting.
