Construction of New Military Unit Launched in Western Georgia
The Georgian Defense Ministry launched construction of a new military unit in a western Georgian town of Senaki. The Georgian state budget envisages USD 9 million for this purpose.
The new military base is meant for approximately 2-3 thousand servicemen. The construction works will end by November.
On April 6 Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili attended the ceremony of launching the construction works in Senaki.
