Abkhaz Leader, UN Envoy Discuss Planned Georgian-Abkhaz Talks

President of breakaway Sergey Bagapsh held talks with UN Secretary General”s Special Representative to Georgia Heidi Tagliavini in Sokhumi to discuss the forthcoming Georgian-Abkhaz talks planned in Geneva for April 7-8, news agency Regnum reports.
 
UN-sponsored Georgian-Abkhaz talks, known as the “Geneva format,” also involve representatives from the UN Secretary General”s Group of Friends for Georgia – France, Germany, Russian Federation, United Kingdom and the United States.
