Saakashvili, Nazarbayev Discuss Economic Cooperation
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said, after talks with his visiting Georgian counterpart Mikheil Saakashvili on March 31, that ?there are neither political nor economic obstacles hampering our cooperation,? Kazakh news agency Kazinform reported.
Nazarbayev also said that Kazakhstan is interested in Georgia?s transit capabilities.
The Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia and the Kazakh Interior Minister signed an agreement on cooperation in combating terrorism and drug-trafficking. While, the Mayors of Tbilisi and Astana signed an agreement on cooperation between the two capitals.
