Russian Official, South Ossetian Leader Meet in Moscow

Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister Valerie Loshchinin held talks with President of the unrecognized South Ossetian Republic Eduard Kokoity in Moscow on March 17. 

According to a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry on March 18,  the sides discussed the results of a meeting of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) held in Moscow on March 16-17, as well as the perspectives of a peaceful resolution of the South Ossetian conflict.
