Batumi Oil Terminal Mined
Georgian Defense Minister Gela Bezhuashvili told reporters on May 5, that oil terminal in Batumi has been mined, posing “threat to the local population.”
President Saakashvili said on May 4 that the oil terminal was mined after the order of retired Russian Maj. Gen. Yuri Netkachev, who serves as a military advisor to Adjarian leader Aslan Abashidze.
