Germany, Georgia Pledge Cooperation

“We are ready to render both economic and political assistance to Georgia, as well as to promote Georgia’s integration into European structures,” Joschka Fischer said at a joint news briefing right after his meeting with President Saakashvili. 
 
“Cooperation with Germany is very important for Georgia and we are ready to take into account all the recommendations related to Georgia’s integration into the  European structures,” Saakashvili said.
 
Joschka Fischer has already held meetings with Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania and his Georgian counterpart Salome Zurabishvili.
