Burjanadze, Powell Discussed US-Georgian Cooperation

(Tbilisi, June 13 2003, Civil Georgia) – Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze held a meeting with the US Secretary of State Colin Powell on June 12.

“We discussed situation in Georgia, particularly security issues, Abkhazian conflict, problem of the Russian military bases deployed in Georgia and US further assistance for Georgia,” Nino Burjanadze said while speaking in the live broadcast from Washington in Rustavi 2 TV channel on June 12.
