Georgia Supports US War Against Iraq
(Tbilisi February 4, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgia has officially supported the planned US campaign against Iraq. President Eduard Shevardnadze said on February 3 that he sent a letter to President George W. Bush, which reads that the regime producing weapon of mass destruction should be punished.
On February 3 President Shevardnadze said “Iraq produces chemical and biological weapons that might be used against any country, including Israel.”
Georgian President also said that Iraq works on creation of the nuclear weapon as well.
