Putin Calls for Russo-Georgian Partnership

(Tbilisi, January 25, 2003. Civil Georgia) – President Putin in the message to his Georgian counterpart Eduard Shevardnadze, in which Putin congratulates Shevardnadze 75-year anniversary, expresses hope that the Russo-Georgian relations will “turn into partnership.”

“Georgia and Russia are united with the common cultural and spiritual values. And we are full of desire to safe friendship between the two nations,” President Putin’s message reads.

Georgian President celebrates his 75-year anniversary on January 25. Azerbaijani President also congratulated his Georgian counterpart today.
