MPs Want Electronic System During the Elections
(Tbilisi, September 3, 2002, Civil Georgia) – Parliamentary leadership and the leaders of the factions discussed the issue of amendments in the election code at the Parliamentary Bureau meeting on September 3.
MPs suggested that the elections in the future should be held with the electronic system that will reduce violations and forge of election results. Each voter will be supplied with the individual electronic card.
Parliamentarians want to make amendments in the nearest future, so that the Parliamentary elections, scheduled in 2003 to be held with the new system.
