Abkhazian Official in Exile Dissatisfied with Parliamentary Discussion of Abkhazian Issue

(Tbilisi, March 14, Civil Georgia) – Head of the Tbilisi-based Abkhazian government [in exile] Tamaz Nadareishvili left the Parliamentary session on March 14, where the situation in Abkhazia is discussed beyond the closed doors.

Tamaz Nadareishvili stated that such discussions are ineffective. “Considering Abkhazia’s status in the Georgian constitution is not planned to discuss, while I expected that the issue would be in the agenda,” Chairman of the Abkhazian Supreme Council Tamaz Nadareishvili stated.

Georgian State, Foreign and Special Affairs Ministers informed MPs about the situation in breakaway Abkhazian region.

It is anticipated that the Parliament will adopt a resolution concerning the situation in Abkhazia.
