Head of Prison Dismissed for Assisting Jailbreak

(Tbilisi. December 26. Civil Georgia) – Head of Avchala strict regime prison in Tbilisi was dismissed. He is suspected in assisting escape of the prisoner, sentenced for murder on December 24.

Deputy Minister of Justice Kakha Koberidze stated on December 26, that two other employees of the prison were fired as well. Investigation says that they also assisted in the jailbreak.

The escaped prisoner is not found so far.
